John Lennon's Birthday October 9th:

Went to Central Park yesterday to get some footage of Beatle fans at Strawberry Fields on what would have been
John Lennon's 67th Birthday. I was planning on asking people there to say
"Happy Birthday" into the camera for the clips. All for Joe Johnson's BeatleBrunch Syndicated radio program as a new addded fun cool feature. LIVE video reportin, y'know...

Anyway, a tour group was getting the history on the mosaic and the 2
acres by some homeless guy the guide introduced as the "Mayor of
Strawberry Fields"
He was knowldgeable but unkempt, slovenly, and ill mannered.

Just as the group was leaving he started verbally attacking this guy
who was sitting with guitar and prepping to start playing songs, as
is very common there. They get into an obscenity-laced argument some
of which I caught on my cam. About how he always gets the top of the
circle for tour groups and you shouldn’t do this and that, blah blah
blah.

Talk about missing the point. You can'r be Beatle fan and think violence or war is ok. Shit don't work.

Anyway… sad, but true.

Anyway, needless, to say I didn’t start asking people to say anything
into the camera. I can
include the fight footage and make a fool out of this guy, I ahven't decided yet.
